FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reviews monthly Quality KPI metrics and develops countermeasures and implements corrective actions to reduce both internal and external quality defects and warranty claims.
- Supports manufacturing floor and provides assembly process troubleshooting as well as technical development and training of line technicians.
- Creates Bill of Materials and provides work instructions and BOM maintenance. Support for Quality Management System (QMS) compliance.
- Develops machine and set-up manuals and operator work instructions for all work areas/cells.
- Supervise production line maintenance and tool makers as needed to repair and rebuild molds and injection molding equipment. Support mold design development.
- Communicates progress of tooling, fixturing, test equipment, and assembly equipment to support NPI.

REQUIREMENTS
- Assures compliance with all OSHA standards, plant safety standards, and environmental laws. Reviews manufacturing processes for potential safety issues and takes corrective action as needed. Provides technical support for Plant KPI Safety metrics.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
- 3 – 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- MS Office.
- PRO-E CAD/CAD or equivalent.
- Lean Manufacturing.
- EIT, EI, or IE designation.
- Professional Engineering License a plus.
